3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Sewing needles for old machines on: November 21, 2006 06:39:56 PM
I just bought an old Montgomery Ward 7 jewel zig zag machine. Everything seem to be in working order... except no needle. I tried using the needle on my machine, but it won't hold.

Anyone know what needle I'm supposed to be using for it?

at the end... the top looks like it's a wrap.

For any of you who have seen this movie, is this dress cute or what?!? It totally reminds me of dresses I used to wear when I was younger

I'd love to make one for the holidays, but I can't find many images online of this dress. From what I'm guessing... the front is kinda square and low cut, cause in some scenes there's some cleaveage peeking through the lace. The sleeves... well that doesn't really matter.

I think the biggest problem would be the back. I think there are buttons running down the back of it. If they're functional or for show... who knows. I'm guessing it's a black dress... but who knows, it could be a very dark green. Velvet even? No... that would be too much like a children's dress!  Huh

If you've seen the movie, please help me figure it out!

I quickly did up a banner... but I think it's too small?

I didn't think the runway show looked that much better than the photos.

One thing I found interesting... is that there was an exec from Walmart!

I'm gonna say it's because I've been out of the country and currently crazy sick, but I haven't cared much about PR for the last two weeks. I didn't catch most of the finale because I was drifting in and out of sleep.  Shocked

Michael won the fan favorite. Seed money, braces money, money to take Brandy out... whatever.

There were pieces from every collection that I adored... perhaps more of Uli's than everyone else's. Plus I loved the music she chose. Appropriate.

There's gotta be a PR curse. Jay won season one, and it took him until NOW to finally show a collection. Chloe won last year and she's still only regional *but I will buy her stuff online in a heartbeat*. Will Jeff be able to break out and accomplish this show's original goal- of finding America's next big designer? We'll find out

But now I must sleep. Nyquil is finally kicking in
