1  Been beading in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by misstoiletweasel on: August 22, 2008 01:44:13 PM
I had a brief affair with beadwork when I was 12 or 13, but I never liked any of my results. A great sale at Joann's, along with the projects on Craftster recently inspired me to give it another go! Here are the things I've made so far  Cheesy

I made this one a few years ago, but I added some beads and I like it a lot better now!

(note to self... dust appliances before taking photos Smiley)

2  Pinata Costume in Halloween Costumes by misstoiletweasel on: August 22, 2008 01:25:35 PM
It just occurred to me that I could probably share this project here and someone may appreciate it Smiley I created this pinata costume for my boyfriend last Halloween. Many hours of crepe paper gluing and cursing later, we won both costume contests we entered (I kind of tagged along, as the pinata whacker - a fun excuse to chase him with a whiffle ball bat!). Now, we have to come up with something to top it next year!!

(Note: that cord hanging by his neck is supposed to the the cord you tie the pinata up with Smiley)

I wish I had gotten some better photos of him, and I may have them stashed somewhere, but these were the fun ones!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I used your tutorial to make a necklace for my mom (she loved it)
