1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: kitty pouch carrier! on: September 28, 2007 08:38:52 PM
I love this!!  I was just searching the web for something like this a couple days ago--I even looked on babiesRus.com, but I didn't know if a baby-sling would work for a kitten.  Besides, I would probably need a neck sling for my little guy!  He likes to be in my face and makes circles around my neck.

You should make these and sell them.  I'm serious--I would buy one!

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Book - "Sexy Little Knits" on: July 02, 2006 10:12:38 PM
I just saw this book by Ashley Paige at B&N the other day and looked through it.  Oh my gosh!  There is such beautiful, sexy stuff in there!  Has anyone made anything from the book yet?  I'd love to see some FOs.

Sorry if this has already been discussed - I didn't see anything about it.

I love it!  Now you just need to crochet some chaps for your kitty.

OH MY GOD.  SO cute!!!!!  How old is the kitten?  My brother just found a 3 week old kitten yesterday....it was in pretty bad shape, I hope it makes it.  I might need to make him a kitten cozy!

So cute!  I love it!  Looks like your cat is tolerating the sweater pretty well.

9  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Letter Have It -- Help me! on: May 18, 2006 04:18:39 PM
I've only knit one other FO so please forgive my stupidity!  I've looked for the answer to this and can't find it.

On the center panel, after you knit the one side for the zipper, the instructions say:  "Join yarn to sts on 1st holder.  Work in garter on these sts for 9"."  Ok, so my question is, how do you join the yarn?  Do you just put the stitches from the holder onto one of your needles and start knitting with your ball of yarn?  That's what I've started to do, but the end of the yarn is so loose.  It just doesn't seem right.

Here's a hazy pic to help it make more sense (maybe):

Thanks in advance for your help!

Did anyone make this?  It's on my list, but I'm really curious to see how it turned out for others!  I absolutely love it!
