I made this purse in the summer and thought it would be perfect for this challenge. 

The watermelon slice measures 18 x 10 (inches) and with the strap it is 18 x 26.  I chenilled the pieces using 100% quilting cotton. It is interfaced with crafters fleece and lined with black kasha lining (the same as the strap).

I finally finished my last bunch of Christmas cards.  I saw this

and was instantly inspired to make my own.

[sha sha dream bag]

I started weaving ribbon to make a sha sha dream bag ages ago.  I ran out of ribbon and decided to make a clutch instead.  It measures 8''x4'', there is a zipper on the inside and it snaps closed.

My new creation: The flower brooch.  Made from wool flannel embellished with embroider floss.  They measure 2 1/2'' across.  I love these little things, they look great on a blouse or a purse!

I've been working on this bag for a few months now and I am finally done!!!  I am so happy with how it turned out.

This is my first completed purse this summer.  I figured I would start off with something very simple.  I used simplicity it's so easy 5151.  The bottom actually fits on this pattern.  The purse is fully lined and it is interfaced with  crafters fleece.
