That gourd bag is WONDERFUL looking! So different! However did you attach the handle to the gourd? Did you line it?

thanks I laced the handle onto the gourd with leather cording.  I lined it with handmade felt. Glad you like it

A gourd bag?  you mean a bag made out of a gourd?  are they not heavy and clunky?  it sounds interesting... got a link anywhere?

Yep - a bag made out of a gourd.  gourds are actually pretty light considering.  Here is one I made for another swap.

Oh I want in - this would be my 3rd OTT swap.  I just finished the  fill a purse swap and was overwhelmed by it.  OTT is just my speed.

It's called needle felting and requires lots and lots and lots of poking with a very sharp needle.  You can find more about needle felting on the felting board
