Here is my frog down by the frog pond with all the other warty frogs!



and here is a warty gourd in the raw (so to speak)

Gourds are like that - they often tell you what they want to be - or how they want to look.

I am glad you like it.  And it actually is functional - it's a box so you can store your flies and other important things in it.

It is made from one gourd.  the front is sanded down a little to make the tummy.  paperclay is added to make the eyes.  and the rest is acrylic paint.  All the warts are part of the gourd.

When I get home tonight I will try to put up a picture of a undecorated warty gourd so you can see what I started with.

I made this in a class I took at the Arizona Gourd festival in February.  I think he is so cute!

Your dress is just to spectacular not to comment on.  From the title I was expecting someting a bit tacky but thats not what I saw.  I am so impressed.
 

I can't think of any specific tools I haven't used - but lots of supplies I just had to have - that are sitting around waiting for me to get a roundtooit!
I will have to look and see what all there is when I get home.

We decorated panties with fabric markers for my sister-in-law's bridal shower.  It was a lot of fun but not sure she will ever wear them. 
It would be fun to try to come up with something wearable!
