2  Basket bunnies in Felting: Completed Projects by kmac on: March 30, 2016 08:11:12 PM
I used the basket bunny tutorial from  Sarafinafiberart.com to make these bunnies. The blue one was for the frivolous little bunny swap.

3  Re: Frivolous Little Bunny Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by kmac on: March 28, 2016 05:21:24 PM
I recieved my frivolous little bunny from Calliemae.  It is just over 4 inches tall, with an embroidered front, beaded ear, and button eye. The back has some of my favorite colors. It's so cute!  Thank you Calliemae!

4  Isn't it about time for an earring swap? in New Swap Theme Ideas by kmac on: March 19, 2016 08:27:21 AM

I need new earrings, and I'm sure you do too. It doesn't look like there was an earring swap on Craftster since 2011.   Anybody up for organizing one?

If no one else is able to organize, I just may have to do it. But as it will be my first swap to organize,  it will be very simple. Maybe just one pair of earrings.

5  Re: Make Me A Purse/Tote And Fill It!----->GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by kmac on: February 17, 2016 06:50:42 PM
I asked emilywilde for a belt purse to hold my phone and keys and she delivered this sweet little felted bag with three belt options. Can't decide which belt to try first.

She also knit me a little wallet, made a sewn bag for toiletries, made a dragonfly pin, and some hair ties. I can always use hair ties.

The hair ties are made from this neat elastic ribbon with skulls on it.

Thanks emilywilde for a great swap!

I used a bottle topper tutorial I found at sarafinafiberart.com and scaled it down.

7  Batwing purse in Felting: Completed Projects by kmac on: February 07, 2016 07:44:49 PM
I wet felted this purse for a swap. I used a layer of cheese cloth between the layers of wool to provide more strength.

8  Dobby Christmas Stocking in Felting: Completed Projects by kmac on: December 17, 2015 09:16:59 PM
Here is the stocking I made  for the Christmas Stockings Swap this year.

And  after Christmas is over, Dobby comes off the stocking and hangs around the rest of the year.

He is needle felted over an armature.  The stocking is wet felted, with fabric painting for the lines.

Hippycannibal,
I am so glad you liked your stuff.  I obviously did not do a very good job explaining some of the stuff.
The random gourds are for you to wood burn on.
The strange felt things are cat toys, they have catnip in them.
The air plant goes into the gourd "bear", and it becomes a "hedgehog".  Or at least that is what I was aiming for.

I received from Onecrazymom. Thank you, thank you!!!
Here is my beautiful stocking all full of goodies:

And here it is with the goodies waiting to be opened:

The toe was stuffed with this lovely brown scarf, and she sent a homemade card:

I got a beautiful "JOY" banner which is hanging next to "JOY" banner I received in a swap years ago. They both will be up all year reminding me to be joyfilled :

A magnet board for holding important notes:

Little and big cloth pins:

The jewelry - sparkly snowflake earrings in a decorated box, a glittery heart necklace, and a very original Christmas pin with the tree on top of the car:

A pouch with a labyrinth disk (I love labyrinths), a beaded do-dah, and a steampunk bottle cap charm. (I love steampunk too):

A book thong and picture:

A day of the dead magnet and fabric scrap. (I love .... oh you get the idea):

Teeny tiny Christmas buttons:

A cute notebook, a stone container, and a girls face (with a secret compartment inside):

And ornaments:
