This was done like the Baby Gap pjs recon. But this was the first one and I had to rip out seams because I sewed too close to the zipper teeth.


This was the shirt. I just ripped out the side, sleeve, and shoulder seams, cut off the ribbed neck and used the largest pieces from the chest and back.


Interior was just some mid-weight cotton I had lying around. I goofed on the measurements so the exterior is slightly longer than the interior.

Baby Gap pajama set on sale. Thought the elephants were super cute. This was the shirt. The interior of the pouch was made from the pj bottoms.



This stretchy knit fabric is difficult to work with, so I just went soooper slow. I have another set with a dinosaur print and will probably make another, maybe wider and not as deep. The pouch measures about 6"x6".

Okay, not so spooky. A little odd and quirky. I call him Vlad (he's really a prototype). He's headed off to Canada now.

Here are a couple of new stuffies. They're just hanging out in the warm sunshine.

Here are my first six stuffed things. I call them "stuffies"--I used fleece and felt, buttons, and some extra cotton fabric pieces then stuffed with polyfill-type filling.



Next is to find them names. 

With a splitting headache and frustration at my own ineptitude (I had to rip out the top seam 5 times after failing to get the inside/outside/rightside/wrongside thing correct) I FINALLY made a Jordy bag. I am hooked!

The pink looks more like salmon here. Interior photo has better color.

I found a magnetic snap and used a thicker piece of interfacing on the backside. I think next bag, I'll use a larger size so that when I grab the opening, I'll actually grab a piece of the interfacing.
