21  Re: Bargain Hunter Swap Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by RubyRain on: June 22, 2008 06:47:29 PM
Drum roll please  Wink
Here's my cool swap from Sinisterbutterfli!

A cute owl stuffie/pillow, great treasure box with a quilted look-love it!, monster mittens, seek and find bag, small crocheted market bag, fun bracelet that she cut strips of paper and mod podged, and craft apron for my DD.
We love it all-thanks so much for your hard work!

craft apron with slots for markers and stuff-cool!

My 3 yr old likes his monster mits!

This has a bunch of little toys in it that you have to find thru the rice. My DS really likes it. It'll be great for the car!

Wow, that was fast, glad you got it fast. I really wanted to make something with that silk but it was too nice to make something that you might not like and since you said you sewed I figured you probably sewed better than I did (I was right about that-see the pics).

So now to my WOW!
I got my pkg today also and was in awe of Starr's creativity!
See for yourself!

HUGE variety of great things-11 skeins of yarn (and I thought I found a lot-ha!), placemat purse, bamboo mat, ton of red cord fabric (which I'm making a bag out of and maybe some pillows)
You have to look at the cool bamboo purse with the red cord material at top and bottom with the shell handles-is that not the most cool creation ever?!

very cool bracelets my DD stole

very cool bracelets
I love these types of bracelets and wear them everyday so these are really great!
And yes, she used the bamboo and added snaps to make 2 bracelets-how clever!

the MOST awesome pants-Starr will  have to describe how she made them but they are like a wrap skirt!
LOVE LOVE LOVE them-I need the pattern please!

Not pictured because my kids ran off with them is a paint pallet (is that the tight term to hold paint?), 4 containers fabric paint, a small kit with brush, comb, etc, and the extra resin thread she sewed the placemat bag with.

I'm beyond thrilled-thanks so much!!!!  Grin
