1  Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! in The Swap Gallery by xamy on: November 08, 2007 05:43:36 PM
So I received my awesome package from the lovely irish_chicky on Halloween night  Grin(which is why I didn't post pictures right away... I had to go trick or treating!)
So here are the pictures! ... For some reason, I didn't get a picture of everything together.  Undecided

First up, the tale of three brothers:

Shot of the inside:

Elder wand (kind of dark Huh):

Pen that's actually a wand:

Resurrection Stone:

I asked to be the master of death (as in own all three deathly hallows). So, she made me the wand and the stone, and the invisibiltiy cloak... I just couldn't seem get a picture of it.  Wink

Alright, now for my absolute FAVORITE item... Cheesy
THE GRYFFINDOR BAG!

Me, in my last minute Wonder Woman costume (whipped up at 11:30pm on Oct 30th), enjoying my awesome Gryffindor bag, filled with plenty of candy:

2  Re: MP3 Player Case and Mixed CD Swap! gallery in The Swap Gallery by xamy on: October 06, 2006 08:49:06 PM
Sorry that I've taken so long to post pictures of my swap package ... but here it is.

Just check out the 3 very beautiful cozies that I received from rowenlynn.  My favorite is the white fuzzy one.  Its very functional too, since it protects my ipod really well.  My mom loves the kimono, and since she just got an ipod for her birthday, she may steal it  Wink.

rowenlynn also sent me a chocolate bar and some lemon candy which didn't last too long after opening the package.  Also notice the cute Japanese stickers.  There was also some anime songs on the mixed CD...sort of a theme going there.

Thanks for the wonderful swap package and for making my first swap a positive experience.

3  Death Cab For Footsies [img heavy-ish] in Shoes: Completed Projects by xamy on: August 04, 2006 10:16:39 AM
A while ago I made my friend a pair of t-shirt pants for her birthday and I stencilled on a Death Cab For Cutie logo.
(http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111430.0 if you're interested)
ANYHOO I loved the little skulls so much that I had to re-use them. So I stencilled them on a pair of white shoes. That was too blah so I just wrote out some Death Cab lyrics all over them.

And after:

(My feet are peeling Sad I got sunburnt)

Very strange "action shot":
