all the costumes everyone has posted so far are great!
my friends and i are pretty big on costumes but this year i was afraid i wouldn't be able to celebrate due to making a wedding cake for the day after halloween. well it turned out the weekend before, something opened up in my schedule so i had a couple days to throw costumes together for my boyfriend and i.  the best part was that i had everything i needed on hand and only spent $5 for spray on hair color.  im not a big sew-er so everything is hot glue and safety pins

in all of our monster glory!  three eyes, a horn, and lots of fur.  i liked how i had some of his material around my neck like his monster bitch, haha.  


the blanket i cut up to make his suit.  it was a good blanket and it will be missed.

Lately I have acquired quite a few cake decorating and baking supplies and have been busting out of my not very big kitchen.  My mom is moving and offered me a little cabinet she had.  It was okay on it's own, but a little too plain for my taste. My roommate had the green paint, I bought a small thing of yellow for like $5, and I had the paper laying around just waiting to be put to good use.  I'm pretty sure I will always want my kitchen in greens and yellows, so I'm super excited to have this cute and functional piece around!

sorry it took me so long to get back to you, sometimes im bad about checking things 
i got the boots at walmart and they had a pretty big selection.  i see lots of girls wearing the furry boot things so you would probably have luck other places too. thanks for the comment!

I gotta say of all the tactics people use to scare kids on Halloween, I think the scariest would be to have a "live garden gnome" just hanging out on the grass! ha ha! Cheesy
