3  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: New Knitty's Calorimetry on: April 07, 2007 09:52:11 PM
here are 3 more of my Calorimetries! I now have six, and I'm binding off my 7th!

Top and bottom are made with Noro Kureyon in colour 182. The middle one is Katia Mexico in "Easter". Perfect for today!

It's snowing really heavy here tonight so I know I'll get some use out of them!

Happy Easter everyone!  Roll Eyes

My cat Carlos showing off my Cal in Patons Classic Wool in Too Teal. Obviously it's not cat size.

Here's my foray into the Calorimetry! Mine's done with Katia's Mexico on US 7s. I cast on 80 stitches, and it fits my 21" head perfectly!

The striping kind of looks like an eye, doesn't it?
Close up of the white apple button I used...I call mine the iCalorimetry...ha ha.
Sorry I have to link these, I just haven't posted enough I guess!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: i have just revolutionized the {knit} cupcake on: January 22, 2007 07:28:19 PM
I love that yarn you used... I have the same color, but never thought to use it for cupcakes! Carmen is such a soft and fluffy yarn!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ginny Weasley Hat (GoF Style) Now with Pattern on Page 2! on: August 09, 2006 07:20:40 PM
Hi! This is the same ea000blaze from lj. I'm so happy my first try at a pattern actually worked (with a bit of tweaking!). I've still not finished a hat myself, but I'll get around to it and post the pics here!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Flirty flipflop socklets just in time for the summer! on: May 22, 2006 05:43:53 PM
I've got 1 1/2 of these made....what yarn did you use? I just used some Patons Kroy socks in a turquoise and my own hand dyed self-striping yarn. I can't wait to wear them!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: One Skein Stirling Cloche NOW WITH PATTERN, pg. 6! on: May 18, 2006 12:02:01 PM
ok...um, I tried to make the cloche, and something is seriously wrong with it...it's way too short!

This is before felting, but I'm assuming it would shrink even more! I followed your pattern exactly, and the guage is spot on, so what did I do wrong?
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: One Skein Stirling Cloche NOW WITH PATTERN, pg. 6! on: May 15, 2006 08:37:34 PM
As many others have said, I've been searching for a cloche pattern forever, and I'm so happy you finally posted the pattern! I'm making mine with Katia's Mexico, in a beautiful royal blue, turquoise and cerulean colorway. THANK YOU! I'll try to post a picture when it's done!
