I made progress finally! Hopefully now that I've got past my rocky start it will be smooth sailing from here. If anyone else has done this pattern I'd love to see how it turned out.

I'm having problems with Knitty's Wheelie:
http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTwheelie.html

I've never done lace knititng before and am unfamiliar with yarn overs, so that may be part of the problem. I also do not think I'm understanding the purl through back loops.  I've started a couple times and when I drop a stitch it usually falls well below the 6 it should fall to. Not sure if anyone has tried this before, but I would love some help!

Thanks guys. I'm still fighting to finish my second one. I'll let you know how they turn out and hopefully by then I can figure out how to posts pictures on here ... haha.
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Holes in sock on: June 27, 2006 11:02:26 AM
I just finished my first ever sock! After three major restarts, it's finally done. BUT I have a hole near where I started to make the instep. Are there any tricks I need to know to fix this or just try to cover it up the best I can?

Those baby booties are so cute!
That doesn't really solve your dilema, though.  I think if people know how to knit and wanted to make up a pattern similar they could.  Yours look very well made and worth buying as is.
