1  Re: quickie dress that anybody can make in Clothing Sewalongs by kittin1982 on: July 23, 2007 08:34:05 PM
pretty fabric! Here's mine.  I made it in a bright pink jersey from joann's that i got on sale.  I modified it a little.  I made the skirt a half circle and added a tube top to the waist band.  I love the way it fits, though I have some slight modifications to do to make it fit even better...

2  Bright Pink Convertible Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by kittin1982 on: July 17, 2007 07:00:24 PM
I read all 96 (ish) pages of the sew-along for this amazing dress...and I thought that it would be the right project to get me back into sewing...i used to sew all the time and make it to state fair and stuff....but recently i have been more into crocheting and knitting....anyways...without further ado...here is my version of the convertible dress....
all images are clickable and i decided to show two ways that i like to wrap the straps....i made the skirt a half circle....because a full circle wouldn't look good on me...it's made from some jersey fabric that i bought on sale at joann's
