Darn, I'm so jealous of people who don't need patterns and their stuff comes out AMAZING!!  Grin
I really like the dress, not a lot of people (myself included) can pull off white.  Lovely.

I made this dress for an art project.  It has 575 cotton hearts attached to it because it was meant to represent the 575 cats and dogs that are euthanized in animal shelters in America each hour.  I got the idea from this website: http://www.cyrusmejia.com/575project.html
I'm super into animal rights, so I looooved doing this.  Thanks for looking and don't forget to have your cat or dog spayed/neutered!!

Here's my sophmore prom dress made by my mother.  My date and I had this whole vampire thing going on.

Haha, I used the same pattern for my prom dress as well!

My stupid gloves kept slipping down, as you can see...grr!
Here's me and my guy.  I made his tie to match out of the same material for the back of my dress.

Boy, we're dorks. Grin

68  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Straightedge Vegan Lounge pants! on: March 08, 2006 01:36:08 PM
I made these pants for my sister this past Christmas.  She's straightedge (XXX), but vegan as well (V), so straightedge vegan is XVX.  I just bought some black lounge pants and stitched on the letters.  The letters were printed out, then traced onto neon green felt.  Since the felt was kind of flimsy, I ironed some interfacing onto the back.  Enjoy!
