1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Eunny Jang's Print O' The Wave Stole- along (Part 2) on: December 02, 2006 03:45:27 AM
Hi there!  I started to knit Eunny's Print O'... this summer, but as I'd almost finished the main part I was stupid enough to forget it! Fortunately, it was still in my knitting-basket when I picked it up last week. I just want to tell you that the result will be gorgeus if you only hang in there! I'm not a very experienced (lace-) knitter, but I'm so in love with this one and I think you will be with yours too. So keep up the good work, even if you have exams and Chistmas preparations to do right now!

I'm getting there too. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it today. 3 roses left, sew in loose ends, sew buttons in place and join sleeves. Jayy! Finalement!

I've decided that my RR has to be finished by next friday (I'm giving it away  Cry), so I'm making progress by now. Reached the shaping part of the sleeves, not bad, eh?

Now, go, go, go!!!

Phew! I've been away for vacation, work and other knitting projects, and now that I'm back, I see that a lot of things are going on! It's my sister's 30th birthday tomorrow, and I'm planning to give her the lovely Rambling Rose. Unfortunately it will NOT be finished until that. Anyway, I have some sort of deadline, and hopefully I'll be able to start on the arms this weekend or something!

I'll be back!

That's strange! ...I don't know what to do then, because I can see the pic!

Ciao!

I've made my second Fake-a-gamo. This time it's smaller, knitted in more subtle gray instead of screamy yellow and with black instead of brown leather. And no curlicues!

Phew! This pattern exhausts me! It's only the idea of me inside it that keeps me going. Well, and maybe the idea of me knitting a sweater in 3mm needles. I think it's something I want to be able to do if i should keep calling myself a knitter!
8  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitty's Starsky Knit-A-Long? on: June 11, 2006 01:40:12 AM
That's the right way to do it! As long as you keep the three st st it will look geat in the end!
Good luck!

The eagle has landed. I've bought the yarn. Rowan's 4 ply cotton in some pink colour. I'm thinking of knitting it all in the round and then cut it in the front. So, does anyone know how to make steeks with cotton?

Are all your projects down or finished already?
