1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / *Fun & Funky Tilting 4 Patch Baby Quilt* on: March 23, 2009 07:45:59 PM
Clearly this pattern has become one of my faves for baby quilts. It seem to give them lots to look at. This is for my cousin Heather's son to be, she is due in late april. It also follows along with my love of scraptastic quilts.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / *Twilight inspired Makeup bag - Sparkly* on: March 10, 2009 08:28:05 PM
A birthday gift for my truly obsessed friend Kim. What else could I give her but something Twilight related. A Makeup Bag inspired by the cover art of the book. Made from White & Red glitter sparkle vinyl and matt black vinyl with a cotton lining. Its hard to see but the fingers are outlined in thread too, that glows in the dark!

3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / *Woodland Fairy costume 2008 - lots of pix* on: March 10, 2009 08:21:06 PM
I was a woodland fairy last halloween, it was a great idea. The wings were a hit but a pain in the butt to go thru doors in. Full costume pix to come when and if i ever get them from friends.

My Makeup Mask - done with scotch tape and various shades of MAC eye shadows/pigments

My corset-y top - awesome swamp thing like fabric that looks like mossy bark in person. No pic of my skirt yet.

My Wings - white cheapo nylons stretched over wire frames. Painted with acrylic paints, done up with fake flowers and butterflies.

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / *It's a Purple Octopus* on: March 10, 2009 08:03:12 PM
A fun and squishy toy for my niece Avery's 1st birthday. I used purple velveteen for the body, felt for the eye area, fun fake eyes(cool contraptions lock them in place), and 8 vintage mens ties for the legs. Quick fun project that is totally washable if the kids have an episode with it.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Tree Cozies! not by me, but great all the same! on: October 14, 2008 10:01:46 PM
Hopefull this is the right board for this. I got to work today and some fabulous person/people had "tagged" some of the trees in front of the parking garage by my salon with "tree cozies". It was such a great thing to see, and it really made my day. Thanks to whoever you are!! Grin Grin
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / *Tablecloth Quilt - Card Tricks and Mah Jong* on: March 30, 2008 10:37:42 PM
Super simple card tricks pattern that I used to make a smallish sized tablecloth. My Mom has a Mah Jong group and when I found this fabric I couldn't resist making something for her. I used Asian-y fabric for the rest of it so the theme stuck.

10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / *Baby Quilt - Fun Colors & Classic Pooh* on: February 25, 2008 07:54:29 PM
Here is my latest baby quilt. Clearly for a girl, little Avery. Mom & Dad did her room in Classic Pooh, there isn't too much fabric like that out there, so this is what i picked. I had to jazz it up a bit since it seemed plain to me. So I machine quilted it in a Deep Fushia thread!
