361  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Coffee Table from speakers & a shelf on: September 02, 2006 10:33:23 PM
I had old wooden box speakers and a spare shelf laying around. When I was home sick with the flu in march I made this. I did the mosiac in blue and green glass tile. It seems to be kinda Tim Burton-y, I love him.

362  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / *Vintage Clock Purse* on: September 02, 2006 10:24:13 PM
This is one of my most favorite purses! my friend found the purse on the side of the highway & thought I wiuld like it. I then took a vintage ge clock and gutted it, to get the face. I set the face in casting resin and then mounted it to the purse. It always seems to be a conversation starter everywhere I go.
363  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / *Vogue Baby Dress* on: September 02, 2006 10:17:39 PM
I made this dress for my 3 month old neice for her mothers wedding. She was a mini-maid. It matched our bridesmaid dresses. Burnt orange velvet on top and navy cotton with navy sparkle tulle on top. Ours were silk and vevlet. My fave part of the dress was the tattoo print lining! She even had a matching hat and booties in orange and blue that I knit up quite fast.

364  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / *Zelda's Quilt* on: September 02, 2006 10:00:47 PM
My Neice baby Zelda was a suprise baby. Suprise as in we didn't know if it was a girl or a boy. My sister wanted a non gender specific nautical themed quilt. I chose 30's repro prints again( I love them!) for the sailboats ans an anchor print border. My sister absolutely loved it, and it was a hit at the shower.
365  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Cash's Quilt on: September 02, 2006 09:36:23 PM
I made this baby quilt for my nephew Cash. His room is all cowboy & western themed. I used 30's repro cowboy prints. The pattern is simple squares & rectangles repeating. Two squares are not cowboy - one is a pin-up girl for daddy and one is sushi for mom.
366  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Warm Sweater for cold Chihuahua! on: September 02, 2006 09:31:22 PM
I used Lion " thick & quick" wool - ease. I believe the color is called "Lumberjack Red" its a blend of black and red. I used size 9 needles but it turned out like a size 7, I seem to knit a bit too tight. Sorry about the blur, he's a mover and shaker!

367  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / **Matching Puppy Coats** on: September 02, 2006 09:27:52 PM
I have finally gotten around to posting these. I dogsat my brothers dogs and decided to make matching fleece coats for them and also for my two dogs. Green stripey fleece worked well for all of winter and for the only girl, a pink collar and bow. Dogs from L-R : Yummie(lhasa apso), Tamale, Queso, & Burrito(chihuahuas).
