I'm currently making that scarf! I'm using one strand of lion cashmere blend, and one strand of lion brand tiffany. but the tiffany eats the cable pattern, so that kinda sucks. But on the other hand, it is super soft, so thats something to think about.

You don't purl the reverse, and you knit the first stitch, then knit all the other stitches in the row a total of 3 times. I hope that helps.
