2  shelving - my very first home improvement project in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pisicandru on: February 09, 2007 05:29:14 AM
Well,

I am not new to craftster, but for sure this is my firts time posting in this category. My husband and I have loads of books and other items we need shelving for, so always i am in need for more. Some time ago i saw at Target a very nice and funky room divider / shelving unit - but way too expensive for us  Cheesy So .... when i saw some wooden crates at Jo-Ann i was sure i can do something with them ..... to my surprise they were on sale, and not for the 6.99 bucks they advertised them but for ...... 75 cents a piece - well this was a steal so i bought all the crates the store had .... about 16 in total ..... and i used 14 to make this:

1. the begining ....

2. in the middle

3. And the end:

I hope you like it  Kiss

3  Roman antique beads, kyanite and silver ... in Beads: Completed Projects by pisicandru on: November 15, 2006 06:08:14 AM
Well,

I have these round blue antique Roman beads from the Museum of Beads in Washington DC. This is my 4th variation of the necklace using these beads - i think this time i like it the best. It has kyanite beads and Thai silver beads. Even if the pic has almost true colors the kyanite (disc beads) are purple instead of different blue shades ..... i wonder why. And since i liked so much the combo of silver with pearls and kyanite i did a different necklace and a bracelet to match. I hope you like it!

Hi,

This is my first post here even though i sometimes post in other parts of the craftster forum  Smiley

I am far from being an art major, but i enjoy quite few crafts, and even arts (but may be borderline - depending to whom are you speaking .....)

Anyway some time ago i did this 8 silkscreen print after a photo i took in one of my geological fieldtrips.

I hope you like it!

What can i say??? I like Emily the Strange for the .... black cat ;-) And since i found a belt with Neekee i had to have an outfit as well, right??? Darn right.

WARNING!!! bad seft taken mirror pics  Roll Eyes

The top is a t-shirt surgery. It is not very clear here but it has gromet tape that it is laced up and dark red lace. The skirt is made from scratch and i am very proud of it!

Some details ... and my "smart" pipping with parts of chuncky zippers ... the skirt has a black chunchy zipper as a hem as well .... and my beloved belt - of course  Cheesy

bad pic of the back and the little key hope i've made to add some interest to otherwise very plain black back.

I hope you like it as much as i do  Smiley

7  Crystals, lace and silver in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by pisicandru on: October 02, 2006 07:11:00 AM
Over this weekend we went to the craft show in Delray Beach .... i saw few nice jewlery pieces there so i was inspired to do some of my own even if actually i didn't see any in the same style as what i've done  Wink Nevertheless, it was a very nice craft show!

This is a bracelet with wooden beads and black lace .... it was actually inspired by some very interesting cloths and bags made by an artist from Holliwood, FL:

This is a necklace made with Swarosky cystals and pearls and sterling silver. Too bad the pic does not do it justice - it took away all the sparkle ...

And this is a bracelet i've done with glass beads and sterling silver wire:

I hope you like them.

9  my first hoody with loads of pics ;-) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pisicandru on: August 03, 2006 07:41:30 AM
Well,

After that great tut posted here to make a hoody put of a t-shirt i came up with that .... for which i used one t-shirt and scraps from other 3 different tees with skull prints. This is also the first time using piping and making real puffy sleeves. The hoody is not quite finished yet - i styll want to do a stencil on the back - but until then ... here you go ;-))

Close up:
