1  I shot her down...bang bang in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by keaskrii on: July 04, 2008 09:14:20 AM
I've newly discovered the wonder that is shrinky dinks.
I made a few pendants for my sisters which I forgot to take pictures of, however here is the one I made for myself!

Sadly it snapped, so I think another shrinking day is needed for a nice new one.

2  I'm the Hitcher, let me put you in the picture! in Needlework: Completed Projects by keaskrii on: April 17, 2008 02:20:55 AM
My first attempt at needlework. Well, since a few cross stitches when I was a wee little girl!
Made as part of a Mighty Boosh swap.

Is this lovely chap 'The Hitcher'.

Was a bit of an experiment as I did a lot of it freehand!  Undecided

A few months back I was part of The Mighty Boosh swap (possibly the greatest tv show known to man).
Thought I would share a few things that i put together for my little package.

The 'I'm having them' Boots Clock

And the Spirit of Jazz candle holder

I enjoy taking a snap here and there.
Texture seems to catch my eye and I love to take photos at gigs.
Little bit fed up with my point and shoot, so I've got a Canon DSLR arriving soon which I am excited about! Can't wait to have a play!

7  Re: Questions About Hairstyles! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by keaskrii on: August 08, 2007 07:25:10 AM
Ok, so for a while I've had my hair like this ->

(Graduated bob with middle part.)

About six months ago my hair changed to this ->

(More of an increase in the graduation, little shorter to chin length and a straight fringe (aka 'bangs'  Grin ) )

I do like having a fringe as I think it helps balance my face in the length it's at now, HOWEVER, it drives me nuts!!

Apart from when it's freshly shampooed and blowdried, it gets all 'piecey' (as you can see in the photos), and tends not to sit right due to a bit of a cowlick I have on one side. Clearly my hair is too temperamental, and I'm too impatient to fight with it!  Grin

Now here's where you guys come in!
Any suggestions on another fringe style I can adopt?
Next time I'm off to the hairdresser's I'm hoping of going to a slightly more messier/choppier look all round while still keeping the graduated thing going.

Thanks!!

8  Nouveau inspired stencil in Stenciling: Completed Projects by keaskrii on: May 16, 2007 05:16:33 AM
Found a lovely sketch just on google.
Stencilled it for mother, for mother's day of course!
Didn't quite turn out as well as I wanted, but that's what you get for leaving it to the last minute!

10  Re: Come one come all post your new tattoo IDEAS! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by keaskrii on: May 08, 2007 09:06:42 PM
Found this peacock feather image just through a google search

I've always wanted a tattoo that has some music aspect to it so I personalised the image a bit by incorporating two bass clefs.
So here it is, my question to you guys!
To you think the bass clefs should be a little more defined as in picture one below, or more subtle like picture two?

I apologise for my dodgy drawing skills! And any other suggestions would be welcome!
