1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Apple; Chairs..? on: May 10, 2007 11:07:35 AM
Where would I buy something like that? Would they sell it somewhere, or would I have to buy it from a company?
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Apple; Chairs..? on: May 08, 2007 12:03:29 PM
kind of, but when you stand up, it goes back to normal, instead of staying in the form of your-well-butt.
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Apple; Chairs..? on: May 06, 2007 09:19:20 PM
Okay..weird question...
Anyone been to the Apple store, and noticed the chairs around their computer table?? I think they're for kids...
Anyway, these are amazing. I think they're filled with some sort of foam or something, sort of like those squishy pillows, only firmer...
Does anyone know what this material is?!
If not, does anyone know where I could buy such a chair?!
I've googled, and found nothing. -_-

Don't you love my vague sense of writing?!
Sorry if this is the wrong board...I just didn't know where else to post.
Move if necessary!

TIA! -Ashley
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where to find Blythe/Pullip dolls on: April 13, 2007 12:09:47 AM
Why are these things so expensive? I've never even heard of them before.
Despite this, I basically need one!  Cheesy
Where can I find one for relatively cheap, or something cheaper and similar to a Blythe?
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Ebay? on: April 03, 2007 07:07:52 AM
Thanks, you guys! That was very helpful!
But, what if the seller were to flake on me after I pay, or something else to that affect? Would it be up to them to refund my money? Would I be (for lack of a better word) screwed? How exactly does that work out?
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Ebay? on: April 02, 2007 09:58:56 PM
Does anyone have any experience with purchasing off ebay?
I want to get some old appliances to revamp...
I'm a little weary of purchasing items. I'd go to Goodwill/Thrift stores around here, but their hours conflict with mine and they never have anything good. Not that it matters...ANYWAY!

If someone could give me some tips/advice, and whatnot I'd appreciate it!!

Thx in advance!

So, I'm perusing this website that was linked...
I have never understood why environmentally friendly products, not to mention organic foods and the like, are always SO much more expensive than the cheapy bad stuff. That makes me so mad... Angry

Ah! That's so cool! It looks really good too. =)
As everyone else, I'm a Mario girl! Raised on the NES, and Super Mario Bros. 3 (best!).
Only being a nitpick--It's Bob-omb. -_-

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tiled ceiling... suggestions please... on: March 26, 2007 11:19:35 PM
I had the same ceiling at my moms house.
You'd have to be careful with this project, as my ceiling tiles were fiberglas, and if the same, your project may not work easily. UNLESS, of course, you just glued whatever it is to the visible part...

Other than that, I don't have much advice. Good luck, though! Post some pics if you accomplish your task. =)

that is actually a great idea, esp. if all I can find are the long strands of lights...  Wink
