Hi everyone.

So I'm going off to college in less than a month (UNC yay!) and I've been buying stuff for my dorm and I bought a set of small plastic drawers to hold my makeup, they're perfect for the job but they were kind of plain. So after reading a blog post on craftzine.com about decoupaging a plastic storage box I decided to try my hand at it and here are the results.

hey everyone!

my prom was last weekend and I thought I'd share my awesome dress that one of my friends' mothers made me. I refer to it as my classy rainbow dress because it's still formal enough for prom but it had rainbow insets at the bottom. I myself made the sash for the dress because i felt like it needed a little something extra. Oh and I made my flower hair clip too just by hot gluing fake flowers to a bobby pin.

This is my last semester of high school and my class load is really light. Which is great because i have more free time. plus, since i don't need to carry around books, I don't need a book bag anymore. but i found that i needed something to carry around a water bottle and loose paper. etc. so I decided to make a simple tote.

anyhoo that's a lot of explanation, but here's the pics

I'm feeling very accomplished because i finally finished all of my christmas presents!!!! This is by far my favorite gift I've made for someone. It's a transformer's scarf for my brother. I used the chart from this hat pattern http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=197767.0But I've made him two hats already so i decided to make it a scarf.

so I collect rubber duckies, and I recently got a pop art one, and it came in a super cool box. It was too cool to throw away, so i decided to keep it around and make something out of it, and here's what I came up with.




what do you think? I personally think it's the coolest tissue box ever 

so I went to a Red Elvises show a couple years ago, and my dad's friend bought me a shirt, a great shirt i might add. the only problem was that it was 2 sizes too big. This was before my days of craftyness, but now I've finally gotten around to doing something with the shirt so I could wear it as more than just PJ's


 (yes there are a few paint stains on it, but that won't stop me from wearing it around)

so I collect rubber duckies, and recently my collection has surpassed the space I had for it. luckily I went to a rummage sale and found a perfect shelf for $2. The only problem... it was a hideous 70's-esk orange color. but then I had a stroke of genius... what goes better with duckies than bubbles?! so here's the finished product.
