1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I love things in my hair!! ^__^ on: June 22, 2006 09:10:12 AM
So, I've been watching mini top hats since I discovered Lolitas and cause I started to sew last year I needed to make something with my obsession. The one I did is from leftover fabric and tule from a skirt I made. Really cute. I need to try my hand at a real top hat (with not just fabric).  I did in my own way but get a little help from a tute here and Gothic and Lolita Bible scans.

Here's modeled by my desktop. Bottom wasn't sewed yet but you can see details:

And with the yellow tule I made (my first) kanzashi flower!! Is blurry pic but is cause is so small (only 4 cm actually):

As you can guess yellow is my fave colour  Roll Eyes and I'm obsessed with black/white/yellow combo  Cheesy

I used that tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24944.0 for the flower and the clips linked in it!!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Cute shirt on: May 17, 2006 07:21:56 AM
I had a party last week and nothing to wear... Is not my style, cause I love big jeans and my chucks! So I had to make something. Then I remembered that I had a new pattern:

And an embroidery fabric that I love. SO I came up with that:

I was so pleased with the way it came out ^___^ I forgot to take pics at home but a lovely friend make me a photo.

I have more fabric.. don't now in measures but I could do almost two shirts like that (more than a metre or so) and no idea what could do with it.... Any idea???
3  EUROPE / SPAIN / Where to find some items... on: April 21, 2006 04:19:44 PM
Hi!! I came to this page the other day: http://www2d.biglobe.ne.jp/~dhnoah/make_00.htm
and I would really try my hand at this. But... I live in the Canary Islands and is hard to get stuff like that here. This is the list of things I should need:

sawdust
CMC (chemical paste) or starchy paste
bonding agent
stoneclay
epoxy resin

I'm trying to know if I could get this stuff easily in Spain. Really I even know if I could get it here but I don't know too well those items so... I hope everyone could help me.
Thanks a lot
4  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / R. Barocco dress on: April 15, 2006 05:33:51 PM
Hello!! I'm currently searching pics of a dress made by Rocco Barocco. It's spring/summer 2006, it's shinny soft blue with a tube skirt and a shirt (sewed toguether making a dress) also without sleeves and with rouching at the center.... I'm more interested in the shirt part so don't mind if the pics are not full body.
Sorry my english is not very good so I can explain it very well... but I hope someone can help me. By the way I don't know If this is in the correct thread

Thanks a lot in advance
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I'm newbie! my second skirt on: March 04, 2006 04:00:24 PM
Hello to all!! I'm into Crafster since... 10 minutes ago haha but I've been lurking for a time here. I made this skirt yesterday, it's the second one. I made the first one as a class project but was a little boring because I have to make it and I though that was more serious that I wanted. So this is the first one that I made completely myself (using my own pattern and so).
I bought the fabric a time ago and I had a lot of ideas about it! but when I saw the cutes tutu skirts here I saw it perfect!! I love yellow and I became crazy with this yellow polkadoted tule!!! So here is a classic mirror shot! Hope you like it!

Detail of the ribbon:

So.. what do you think?? It was so funny and I made it in... about 4 or 5 hours.
And excuse me for my poor english but I'm spanish...
