WOW!  That is awesome!  I love the colors.  Maybe you could use those faux tealights that run on batteries to add some light.

I can just see this in my cousins room!  It just pops!  Great idea.

You are now my craft idol.  Its beautiful.  I can see you in that...maybe not at work although you had me crackin up with all the food references!  Too fun... you start making clothes out of real food & I will wet my pants.

I love anything that is "cheap" "easy" & "ultra flattering"!

Thanks for the tutorial & the idea....can't wait to try this.  Must find pillow cases....
447  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Inspired by a button, a post, and an awesome 99 cent pattern sale. . . on: June 04, 2006 09:27:10 AM
This is beautiful!  Grin

Sorry it doesn't fit, maybe you can tweak it a lil somehow.  Would be a shame not to get some use out of it.  I don't quite understand the size conversion thing about patterns, but I am just starting to sew too, so I'm sure we will get the hang of it!
448  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / Re: Butt/Face towels on: June 04, 2006 08:39:03 AM
That is great!  I have seen the one for sale online that is like a bath sheet & one half is white & says face & the other half is brown & says butt... that would also be easy to make.  Just get two towels, stitch them together & then do your words.

I love how yours looks!

Great idea & great work... now I am inspired & know what I want to give my Dad this year.  I dodn't want to fork over the cash for the other one, but why not make it?  Thanks!

Omigosh..If you ever figure out how to add the chocolate flavor, I will lose my job & not  be able to afford fabric, thread, needles & all the good stuff in life because I will never leave my machine again!

& you actually have helped me get through this hard time in life just knowing that I am not the only one who gets comfort from creating.  Sewing therapy is wonderful.

Hang in there.  & thanks for the how to on the shirt!
