That's awesome. Great use of the different stitches.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this stitchalong, though I've been lurking for a little while and admiring everyone's work.  I've been wanting to do more stitching, and you have inspired me to complete this little project which I have been thinking about making for a few months.  The quote is from The Bloggess.

Thanks!  Hopefully in about a month, I'll have pictures of the new baby wearing it. I can't wait.  I made several other hats as well, but this was the only one I used handspun for.  Baby hats are just about the funnest thing ever to make.

I dyed this fiber probably a couple of years ago:

And after having it sit in my stash for a while, spun it into this:

And then it sat around for a while, waiting for the right project to come along.  My co-worker is having a baby, so I made her this:

I gave it to her this week and she was so excited.   Smiley

I think those are really cute.

As for other things to make,  what about some kind of reusable shopping bag?  I know I am always forgetting mine when I go to the market.

Amazingly good job.  He is super cute, and I love his expression.

Gorgeous yarns and batts.  I had my drum carder out recently and made this:

Which then became this:

Otherwise, I haven't been up to much lately. Not feeling very inspired for some reason.
