I've started this up again! (The first one I made was too snug!) I'm just about to join my second ball at 7.5". I'm using Lion Brand Microspun in black, and totally loving it! (In the pic I was just past the ribbing.)

Check out my blog for more details!

I just listed my first tsumami kanzashi set tonight, with a pink cashmere ribbon wristlet! What do you all think? Is 26.50$ too high/low for the set?

Ooops - here's the link! Comments are greatly appreciated!!!

13  Squiggle Shawl from Magknits w/ link! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Fortune_32 on: February 23, 2007 05:38:06 PM
I'm so excited - I actually finished something! Ok, so I'm a really slow knitter, but this project was really easy. I found the pattern at MagKnits, here. I changed the pattern repeat, as I only used 2 kinds of yarn, instead of 3.

More details over at my blog. Thanks for looking! Comments always appreciated!

I love the silver Tomate! Lovely ring!

I'm all excited because I'm dropping off my first Sampler contribution in the mail later today! I worked my poor fingers to the bone getting everything together, but I'm all finished, and I can't wait to see what it'll do for my kanzashi flower snaps!I know I shouldn't get too excited, but I get to receive a Sampler too - so I'm giddy today! LOL  Grin

Here's a pair of stick pins. Forgive the weirdly draped chains, I rotated the image so the tops would be at the top. These are extra cool because they have the chain attached to the cap at the end. It's a small bit, so they can get lost when not in use.

LOL I'd love to see pics, too! Cheesy

16  Quilted Patchwork Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Fortune_32 on: January 09, 2007 12:33:39 PM

Here's a patchwork purse I made for my Mom for Christmas. I finished it a little late, but I'm very proud of it! It has a magnetic closure, gathered pocket and pen loop inside (see my Flickr pics for detail shot.)

More details and a link to the tutorial I used on my blog!

17  Tree Branch Earrings w/ link to tutorial! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fortune_32 on: December 11, 2006 02:04:52 PM

I designed these Tree Branch earrings for a friend for Christmas, and thought they were so easy, I'd write a tutorial for them. I hope you like it! It's over at my blog (sorry! tons of pictures!) I'd love to hear comments, suggestions and questions, if you have any!

These are missing ear wires (I can't seem to find the right color.) Also, the beads are genuine apatite. Thanks for looking!

19  Re: Any tips on attaching a knit purse to a metal frame? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by Fortune_32 on: September 18, 2006 09:06:59 PM

My sister made me this beautiful bag! I believe she used invisible thread & mother-of-pearl beads to sew the body & lining to the frame. Hope this helps & good luck!

Here's my progress! I'm at 16", ready to split for the front & back. I love seeing everyone else's, and it's been so exciting to work on my own!
