Hi everyone! One of my good friends is having a baby soon and I decided to throw him a shower. Fun thing is it's going to be at his favorite pub. As you can see this is a very un-traditional shower. Being that he's a musician, I think that guitars and baby rattles for decor sound fun and not too feminine for a mostly male baby shower. So, please help me with any ideas that would be fun and fitting for this occasion and environment.
Howdy. I'm attending beauty school and was wanting something totally rad to carry my shears, clippers an trimmers. So after seeing this done with fabric by ammasmama, I followed suit with my own version. I found this old samsonite cosmetic case for $2, and the images came from a book that was given to me some time ago. I've still yet to add the acrylic sealer, but I had to share this gem! Check it out! Let me know what you think. Oh yeah, images are heavy, which hopefully are uploaded correctly.
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right spot, sorry if not! I recently came across a deal for a Singer or Pfaff tiny serger for $20. Can anybody tell me if these are worth it, good or anything please?
This is my first apron. It didn't really turn out the way I planned, but at least I finished and didn't give up, right? I hope to make many more. Feed back is definitely welcome!
A dear friend of mine is an extreme gardener. For Mother's day I would like to make her an apron. She mentioned that she had seen one on a movie and that she liked it. I was a full apron, but it had large 'pouch', for storing fruits & veggies as you picked and it did go down to the knees. Does anyone have a pattern or really any help on how I can make this useful for her? *if this is posted in wrong area, sorry*
This is major progress for me people. I made this dress for my soon-to-be 3 year old. I think it's just so sweet & simple,I love it. (i hope this link works)
I need some serious birthday planning help! Both girls have summer birthdays, I have a limited budget, I live in a condo barely big enough for us to be in, and it is so hot here in the summer to ask people to come to a park and sweat through a good time! I want it to be so cool and fun, though. What do I do now? I do know that I want them to have super girly parties.
