1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tea storage? on: February 23, 2009 05:44:05 PM
My tea stash outgrew it's current home too. To make it a bit more compact I took all the tea bags that were individually wrapped and put them in a cigar box I picked up for free at the local grocery store. That way I didn't have a lot of half empty boxes on the shelf wasting space. It's also easier to see more of my tea at once.  Grin

That's awesome! I love the hooves, they are so cute. Grin
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Re: Scrapbooking for Wall Art on: September 20, 2007 11:49:04 AM
Thanks for the tip on the frames.... and the inspiration! LoL. All I need now is a working vehicle to get to Michael's! The nearest one is 1 1/2 away!

I've seen similar frames at Wal-mart. They were in the picture frame section.

4  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Giant Rectangle Granny Square Afghan CAL on: August 05, 2007 06:50:08 PM
I think I'm gonna have a go at this. I need something soft to throw over my yoga mat when I'm using it for some of the moves my belly dance instructor wants me to work on (and something soft to lay on for all the crunches she is having me do >.<) My mat is cheap and thin and not squishy like the ones at the studio. Sad

I'm gonna make it with TLC Essentials Choco Cherry, Eden Green & Light Country Rose. The colours match my bedroom where I do most of my practice and the pink & green are leftover from some tassels I made for one of my tribal hip belts.

Wish me luck on my first CAL! Smiley

You know I can't say I like one version over the other. I even have the live action TV show on DVD. They all have thier ups and downs.

I'm learning how to do amigurmis now. I'd doing a dragon for my husband but it's for his birthday so I can only work on it when he's not home. You have inspired me to try my hand at making anime characters next. In amongst my other 50 million projects I want to do. >.< It's nice to do something just for fun between the useful projects.

That is awesome. I never in a million years would have thought about making a Sailor Moon doll even thought it was my first and still is my favourite anime. She looks a million times better then the dolls my mom got me for me graduation. Cheesy

A Galaxia (after she was healed of course) doll would be so cool, what with the multi-colour hair and all.

I've always loved your cages. Especially the one with the nice yellow fleece with the brown stars.  Smiley

Hi FairySari! *Waves at Sari*

Looks like we have a lot of Guinea Pig cages people on here now. Smiley What a great combo, crafting and piggies!

Where did you get that My Little Pony fabric? It would go great with my My Little Pony cage.
