1  Cat Tissue Box Cover in Crochet: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: May 24, 2013 05:58:40 AM

Basically I was tired of the boring designs of tissue boxes. So I made my own cat one Smiley
What do you think? Fits with my toilet now?

Fancy one too? http://mysteriouscats.com/free-crochet-pattern-cat-tissue-box-cover/

2  Holly Golightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: May 01, 2013 02:55:16 AM

Finally finished my second pattern inspired by the V&A's "Hollywood Costume" exhibition!
It's Holly Golightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's"! Hope you can tell it Wink

I really hope I managed to keep her sophisticated style but still keeping her witty character.

Hope you like it!

3  Dorothy! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: April 10, 2013 04:44:53 AM

Last year I've been to an amazing exhibition about Hollywood costumes in London and it was so inspiring! A real treat for movie and fashion lovers!
One of the costumes was from "The Wizard of Oz", Dorothy's dress and ruby slippers. I love how simple it is but at the same time so memorable.

Also lately I've watched "Oz the Great and Powerful" and also "The Wizard of Oz" and everything inspired me to make a Dorothy.

I tried to keep as many details as possible, like the dress and the slippers are separated parts from the body and legs. Also I hope you can see I used a metallic thread for the shoes.

What do you think? Did I keep the essence of this unique costume?

5  Bolt the Snail in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: March 27, 2013 02:00:45 PM

"Morning, it's another pure grey morning
Don't know what the day is holding
When I get uptight
And I walk right into the path of a lightning bolt"

Do you know this Jake Bugg song? Don't know why but it inspired me to create this little fellow.
Bolt dreams of being a sprinter but everything on his own time. He takes things slowly but with absolutely faith he will get there. Can you see it how happy he is?

7  Mr. & Mrs. Bunny Stroll at the Park in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: March 05, 2013 10:40:25 AM

My first bunny pattern!!! I don't know why it took me so long to have a rabbit in my collection. What I can say is that I somehow did need a lot of time to get this pattern to look right and also I wanted to add something unexpected. Thanks to my husband, the idea of a pram came up and here it is.

Also I wanted a lop eared bunny and I wanted to get the right character to it. So after a lot of crocheting, unravelling, crocheting, unravelling... here are the results. What do you think?

8  Clive, the red panda in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: October 19, 2012 05:46:44 AM
Took me some time to finish this pattern. It's because I stopped it to start my website and now it's finally ready Smiley

I must admit that I did not know about red pandas till some years ago. While browsing Flickr there was this cute looking but very different animal so I went investigating it.
Immediately I thought this would be a good amigurumi!

So I hope I captured the red pandas personality rightly. And I think he looks crossed because people mixed them up with other animals all the time Wink

10  Toby, the Beanie Cat in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by yoguiana on: September 25, 2012 09:29:56 AM
I love making beanies for Tommy, my cat. He hates it!
So I decided I should make an amigurumi cat with a beanie so Tommy would not feel so alone, plus this one has no "stinky" face. (see what "stinky" face means at the picture below)

What do you think? Any similarities? Wink
