1  scrapbook for my sisters b'day in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by asteriskmanagement on: August 25, 2005 07:17:09 PM
the front and back cover were plain chipboard and the inside has dark chocolate colored blank cardstock. the color scheme is brown, red and tan.

not the best photo, i had to use my phone camera. now my digi cam is charged, but my sis already has her book.

she seemed pretty happy with it.

2  Re: Just some shirts I've made. in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by asteriskmanagement on: October 26, 2004 04:04:03 PM
just thought i'd show you what i did with your bjork photo...

my husband had a stained shirt and he wanted me to use your bjork photo after i showed it to him, but he wanted me to keep it in a square shape to get as much stain coverage as possible.
i had to think of a way to keep it from looking too lame, like i just cut out a pic and ironed it on.

i added the pale pink to her lips in photoshop. after i ironed her on there was still one big black inkspot, so the big pink star was added to the left...

then i spent way too long cutting out all the other little stars to make it more cohesive. miracle of miracles, you can layer your iron ons.

i use avery paper made for dark colored fabrics, it works really well.

a close up...

and still a square, but it looks good on...

thank you so much for sharing your work, cinerobot!

4  Re: record wall art in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by asteriskmanagement on: August 24, 2004 04:09:35 PM
just another variation on the record wall art theme...
in our computer/craft room.
these record bowls lost their shape in a move during 110 degree heat. thus, wall art.
