16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Toilet Decoupage on: May 14, 2004 01:16:53 PM
I think you just have to test it yourself with some other thing made off the same material that you wanna decoupage/paint...i would go for a spray varnish and try it for a week or so, then clean, and scrub it and see what happens before getting into the object to work with...

good luck
17  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Pantyhose/Tights/Nylons on: May 08, 2004 06:30:17 PM
I remember than in a fashion class that i had last year, we had to take a piece of cloth and turn it into something totally different and a girl got a net like pantyhose and she cut the feet part and in the butt area and suddenly she had a very sexy wearable sort of blouse, was amazingly easy

but as you have post this in january, probably you've done already something to them...

anyway...greetings
18  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: cigar boxes and empty bottles on: May 08, 2004 06:11:00 PM
You can send them to me! LOL...I use those boxes for all kind of stuff, from storage to paintings inside with texture, or you can make very funky kitchy things if you stand them and then the opening becomes a door, get it?...the inside is totally up to your imagination...

Otherwise i give you my postal adress Wink

with the bottles, probably some of them you can fill up with water and add some color drops (you know, there are special drops for coloring water), they look great on windows or in the kitchen, terrariums is a nice idea too, and you could also use sand or salt with color chalk and make nice designs in it with sticks and stuff...

good luck
