1  In Progress...Queen Size Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by BeeSting on: April 14, 2008 10:21:54 AM
This is the middle portion of a quilt I'm making for my boyfriend and my bed.  It's a project out of Projects For the Weekend Quilter, I'll find out the name when I get home.  But it's a bunch of Moda fabric and I just need to finish the border and we'll be good to go!

And yes, those are pirate sheets on the bed.

5  Hat from a Friend's Pattern in Knitting: Completed Projects by BeeSting on: November 16, 2006 09:15:33 AM
ok I had to post this hat I just finished, I modified a pattern my friend Zona wrote.  But I think it's awesome!

The brown is cascade 220, the green is wool ease.  The top, is a lot like Topi from Knitty, but in seed stitch with a stockingette band for the green and the brim is pretty much the brim from SNB Nation for the Newsboy cap.  I think that's it.

I'm using wool of the andes in Winter Sky (I think).  It's soft and nice.

7  Re: Clapotis from Knitty in Knitalongs by BeeSting on: September 28, 2006 11:03:17 AM
Ok, finally pictures of my Clapotis.  I did this out of recycled Sari Silk for my Aunt Marti who's an opera professor in Salzburg, Austria.  It actually gets cold enough there unlike here (So Cal) to wear a silk wrap.  It was huge and heavy and I love it, and she loved it which is what really matters.  She let me stay with her this summer, so this was my thank you.

YAY!  I'm so glad you liked it I was so worried!  Here's the pics I took with my camera phone, kind of crappy, but I remembered I wanted to take some at the last min.

There's the actual pin cushion

and the fabrics I sent her:

I have a crap load of halloween fabric, I'm thinking when I can get some more this year I'm gonna make a quilt, but I figured I can share the wealth too!
