13  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Lookie what I got ! WARNING Contains adult content on: March 25, 2006 01:28:36 PM
HI! My boyfriend goes to a welding ckass. Since I am always making stuff for him, he decides to make something for me. Well, here is the result.

Thses pictures are supposed to be of me and him I guess. I where glasses so the girl has washers for glasses and big ass eyelashes.

He made me an A branding stick thingie. I dont really know why but its still cool. Maybe it will help me in the future when I own cows or something  Roll Eyes

This is the adult themed one. Can you figure out what they are doing?

14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / FO's WARNING LOTS OF PICS ( I re-did the pics! And added some stuff) on: March 23, 2006 07:40:45 PM
Hi! I think I figured out my digital camera. It still sucks though. Here are some projects that I have made. I dont really ever wear any of the stuff I knit so I guess i made these for recreational purposes. I hope you like them!

15  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I made 2 Cluster Bracelets! on: March 21, 2006 09:06:55 PM
Hello. I am sorry about the quality of the pictures. I hate this camera my sister has. I had a really nice digital camera. I mean it took wonderful pictures that were clear and in focus and everything. Then my sister goes and loses it! I mean Im supposed to be the irresponsible one! She is 24 ans she lost my camera! And she didnt even attempt to buy me a new one! Come to think of it, I dont even think she asked to borrow it when she took it! UGH! Anyway, back to my bracelets. Even though you probably can not tell there are two of them.

Here is the first one I made. It has all different color beads on it with all different sizes. I think there are approximately 36 groups of beads on it with 2 to 3 bead groups on each link. The whole bracelet is about 10" long. I wish you could see it better. I wore it to school once and one of my friends said it was the perfect ADD bracelet Smiley

Here is the other bracelet. It is not as 'busy' as the other one. This one is only made up of red and blue beads. The blue beads are kinda plain but almost all the red ones are really decorative. This one has about 21 beads with 1 group on each link. The bracelet is 9" long.

So what do yo think? I know the pics are horrible but do you think I could sell them? If so, how much do you think they should go for? I think my bracelets are really pretty. Even my sister likes them (or tolerates them Roll Eyes ) and she thinks everything I make is pointless. I would love to hve your opinion though Smiley

17  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Unmentionables at craft fairs and other questions on: March 15, 2006 04:58:35 PM
I've never been to one before because I've lived in a VERY rural area not close to anything. But I was wondering if anyone saw and/or offered to sell any 'unmentionable' type items. I'm talking from underwear, to cloth pads, to 'adult' themed items. Did anyone have a bad reaction to this? Would the fair have rules or restrictions on this? How would you present these sort of crafts? I was just wondering but I would really like to know just incase I do this in the future *hinthint* Wink

And another question, what if you wanted to take up a collection for a charity? Could you do that? And if you said "All proceeds go to so and so charity" could you keep a portion of the money to help pay for the materials you brought to make the stuff?

Another question but could you sell stuff at, like, county and state fairs? Cause then I could get too threes fairs in the fall if you can. Where i live at now, I am sort of close to where the State fair is held. Anyway, that is all of the questions i have for now. Thanks
18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my first sewed clothing item! The infamous circle skirt! on: March 14, 2006 07:13:50 PM
Hi everyone. I've never really sewn that much in my life. Then I moved with my sister. She isnt very crafty at all. But then I found craftster and got really interested n sewing. One day my sister saw me on this site and she told me there was some stuff in the attic. I was so excited I went right up there and I found a sewing machine!! I was so so surprised! Its called the dressmaker and its one of those mini machines. Anyway I made some pads and I got started on this this circle skirt. Here a link to some pics of m pads

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=18462.msg798288#msg798288

and heres a sort of close up

The fabric is blues with little kitties and mice on them. Its longer than I expected and it dont have any buttons on it but I wanted to show my first piece of clothing off! What do you think?
