You picked wonderful fabrics for those dresses!  Absolutely amazing.  Kudos.

That is absolutely brilliant!  How long did it take you to do?  I am so impressed.

Butterick B4543.  The written instructions were kind of vague, but the pics were easy to follow.   It was VERY easy and quick, and it turned out very well.

Loved making this!  I had so much fun and it was really easy.  I don't do complicated projects.  I did it in 2 evenings after my daughter went to bed.  It is a size 3T, which is a bit big, but should fit her by summer.  If not, I'll take in the waist a little.  It was Butterick B4543.  I have some other fun material and I am going to make her the top and skirt next.

I love it!  I have some extra tulle from the tutu project- I'm gonna have to try to make one.  Love the colors you chose.

I think the teen years are meant to be for wearing ANYTHING!!!! Oh- how I'd love to be 16 again and have that freedom  Grin.  Make your tutu and wear it proudly!!!  I may make one for myself to wear around the house and for dancing with my daughter!
That would be a sight- but fun  Wink

I used the instructions from 2 other craftster posters to make DDs tutu (it was pretty old- 2004 or 2005) - and I also improvised.  You should check out their creations.  I believe they were teens/young adults.

Thanks!  Heck, I just got roped into making a matching one for her ELMO doll with the scraps Roll Eyes.  I'm a sucker for my little gal...

Thanks to craftster (I looked back at all the tutu projects) my daughter got the tutu she's been begging me for.  I bought 3 yards of tulle and used some stretchy material from an old turtleneck to make the waist.  I thought the tulle would be more difficult to work with than it was.  My daughter couldn't be happier- in fact, she won't take it off (I made her take it off to go to bed).
