2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: ideas for my new goth/vamp/romantic bedroom. on: February 19, 2007 06:38:33 AM
I found this in an Ikea mag. Its not exactly Goth, but as a vamp I find it very eye catching. Mostly because of the curtains and the contrast between the red and white. If you changed the white to black Im sure it would look very dark and sexy.

Your typing is confusing at the beginning. What is the title of the book?

I have looked through the book inside Barns and Nobles a few times. I want it only for two of the Ideas. The sweater into hat and the little cardholder thing towards the end of the book, the one with the Japanese candy wrappers.

The amount of projects is a little bothersome. But, then again, I got the book for 2.00 at the used bookstore inside Barns and Nobles. So, I cannot really complain.

Other then that, I find the book enjoyable. In fact, it is the reason I discovered crafting in the first place.

It has style and is most definitely not yours grannies crafts".
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Synthetic Dreadlocks... take pity on me on: February 14, 2007 03:11:05 AM

9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Synthetic Dreadlocks... take pity on me on: February 13, 2007 11:50:47 PM
I know theres another thread for dread locks but I cant read 100+ pages to find out.

Yesterday I got my hair cut and it was butchered. Its too short and I look like a boy. Someone called me sir today. If it wasnt for the fact that I am German I believe I would be crying. To make it worse, tomorrow is v-day day and I look like a Nazi. Angry Angry Angry

I have always wanted a big head of Synthetic Dreadlocks. Like a mane of hair down to my chest. But I dont have the 450.00 to go to hair police.

I do have about 200.00.

Where can I go to get a full head of Synthetic Dreadlocks done in the twin cities, MN?

Or

I can try to do it on my own. I have spent 3 hours already trying to figure it out from instructions online, I have failed so if you would be so kind to explain it to me like Im retarded, it would be much appreciated.

10  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / How does being a dealer at a convention work? on: February 13, 2007 12:10:30 AM
My best friend just decided that Im helping her sell assorted sci-fi themed craft things at a convention as a dealer. I have only ever been to two different conventions and I know that Amy has no idea what shes doing. She has a tendency to jump first with out looking and I dont want her to fail.

I know that there has to be a post somewhere on this site that explains this but I cant seem to find it.

So, what do I need to know about being a dealer at a convention? Assume I know nothing.
