Excuse the PJ's and the "I just got up and haven't washed" look.

The jacket was bought by my Dad who doesn't realize that a girl with wide hips and a bigger butt should not wear short jackets. He bought me a short leather bomber jacket also.
I had the material left over from a baby carrier I made. So this is what I decided to do. I lengthened it with strips on the bottom, made a new collar and applicayed patches of nifty scenes from the fabric over the pockets and on the back. The collar is not messed up, I just didn't lay down right. It's a bit on the funky side. I really wish I would have thought to ruffle the bottom layers because they hug my hips and butt in a funny way. Actually, I think I'm going to take off the very bottom layer, maybe that will help? Or just shorten the bottom layer? The jacket is also a new dark blue color and I think it would go with the cowboy stuff better if it was a little distressed. What do you all think I should do to it?
hehehe...you can see the halter dress I posted earlier hanging in the background...

It's amazing how much your body changes after popping out a couple kids. I gained 50-55lbs with my 2 year old because of MANY food aversions. I still had 20 lbs to lose when I got pregnant with my 4 month old. I gained 30 lbs with him. I have to say that they are worth it and I WILL get thin again...someday.
The back naturally slopes into a nice curve. I think I need straps across my back to break up the expanse. I don't have enough material to lengthen the straps
I still love this dress. The gathering on the boobs really enhance that area
much needed since those parts got deflated after the kids.
