HERE IT IS!!!
The newest My Little Pony Swap.
We have lost count as to which number this will be so we will not even try  Cheesy
But...here is the general idea...
Go buy a My Little Pony then, RE MAKE IT...
Re-paint it, give it new eyes, make it some clothes, give it fur, or what ever you like. Just make it crafty!
You will get a copy of the questionair that your partner will fill out.
Then think up some ideas of what they would like on a pony.
PM them or talk to them in the thread but, just get your heads together and come up with something FUN!!!

Easy enough! Right?
Well here is all of the normal craft swap info that you have to know for the swap...

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / SCORE!!!! on: August 18, 2006 07:19:01 PM
Well those of you that know me already or have swapped with me know that I am the QUEEN of yard sales and thrift store finds.
Well I go every Friday and I even have my favorite aunt who volunteers at a local thrift store and saves all kinds of goodies for me.  Grin

Well today was one of my greatest scores of all.
I bought 4 that is four, quarto 4 computer keyboards for $1  Shocked

So I took all of the keys off of them and put them all in one basket for cleaning.
Now, after they have been though a good soapy wash I will be starting on some key jewelery.
WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!

So now that I have finished bragging I would like to know if anyone knows of any good tutes for how to start on making the jewelery or bags or anything with my new found goodies.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Where can I find... on: August 04, 2006 07:32:06 PM
Patterns for my largeish hubby....
My hubby is 6 foot 6 inches tall and about 360 pounds.
He never can find a shirt or pants he likes the fit of.
So I want to make him some nice ones (he plays golf) but I have no idea where to find patterns for his size.
They do not have them in our local fabric stores and I have looked online with out much luck.
Any ideas...anybody...?
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Look what I found on: August 04, 2006 06:09:53 PM
I went to my local thrift stores like I do every Friday for my weekly shopping spree (What can I say...I'm cheap  Wink)
And looky what I found in a bin full of toys....

Just incase some one does not know who these fab rodents are....

It's Pinky, Yes Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain....

It's Pinky and the Brain
Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius the others insane
Their laboratory mice their genes have been spliced
Their Pinky, Pinky and the Brain

Now what should I do with them???
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Wist stalking swap on: August 03, 2006 09:10:57 PM
OK this may have been done in one way shape or form but....
I was thinking of a swap where you sign up and all you do is post a link to your wist list.
You would send your addy to the organizer and then people would wist stalk you.
You would not know who is sending to you or what you are getting until you get it.

So this is a kind of anonymous unconditional swap.
 What do you think?
7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Flannel backed vinyl on: July 23, 2006 04:18:31 PM
I bought a bunch of retro fabrics at a thrift store on Friday...they prety much gave me a huge box of all kinds of stuff for a sing...
(Maybe they gave it too me so I would quit singing  Undecided)
Any way...
Mixed in the box was a HUGe about 4 yard by 2 yard peiced of flannel backed vinyl. Blue with white polke dots.
Any ideas of something super cool to make with this?
8  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / HELP! MY FABRIC IS KILLING ME... on: July 22, 2006 10:22:40 AM
I bought a buggy full of some great vintage fabrics from a thrift store yesterday.
Well I sorted through all of it and now have a huge stash of great peices.
BUT.....
While sorting the fabric I started sneezing and itching (just like I do outside in pollin).
Well, I thought that the fabric must eb dusty etc from being in the thrift store so I started washing it.
Well even after washing all of it and then takeing a shower I am still having the smae reaction.
Since there are so many different types of fabric I do not know which one it is that is making me do this or if it is a combanation of them all.
I have NEVER had this reaction before to any kind of fabric so I do not know what to do.
Any ideas?
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Sugar skulls on: July 22, 2006 10:07:12 AM
Has any one here made the sugar skulls...I have seen where people have bought them, but does any one know how to make them?
And about how long do they last?
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Neck tie needle book on: July 17, 2006 11:13:50 AM
I made these from a pattern I saw on Carol Duvall
I was in the Great Craftster Scavenger Hunt swap and one of the items on the list was a neck tie...So I thought this would be fun to try.
(Sorry about the bad pics, they were taken with my web cam)

I can post a link to the pattern if anyone wants it  Grin
