1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Shop my sweat shoppe swap (SSS round 5)~CLOSED! Send out 11/18 on: November 02, 2006 07:04:03 PM
I am here!!!
I have just been working my butt off lately *phew*
I hope I am getting this right...the people listed in purple beside my name on the 1st page of this thread is who I will be sending to right?

If this is so I promise tomorrow to respond to EVERY one I am to send to and who is to send to me.
But, since I just got off work from a 12 hour shift I am off to take a bath and I will be back tomorrow.

Thanks

I am so gl;ad it finally made it to you!
It took what...3 months? Tongue

Now let me tell you about the creatures...
The snake is a rare breed that you will only find in thrift store or yard sales. He is the hard to find "next tie snake"
Yes he is made from a tie  Smiley  That is one wild tie ain't it ?

The squishy ball is what my kids called a "Pokey Pig"
He is a cross between a porcupine and a pink pig
The face if you look closely is made of quilling paper

The dragon is made of sculpy like you said but after I made her my kids played with her and broke off his wings  Cry
So my daughter (who also helped me paint her) helped me make new wings out of green duct tape  Cheesy
My daughter decided she needed great big red lips so she is a "Kissing Dragon"

I hate that some of the candy melted but man...if I was in a box for 3 months I might melt too lol
Still I am SOOOO happy it finally got to you and that you like it all

PS I knew you liked dragons so that is why I chose that pic for the journal and you told me about your daughter and ducks.
I saved that duck from being tossed in the trash at my local thrift store cuz its head was falling off.
So I stitched it up and gave it a new ribbon  Grin

Would any one be interested in buttons?

I WOULD!!!

ok ok I know I must be dense, WHAT are buttons?
are they badges that you pin to things?
to me buttons go on clothes to hold the side shut. LOL

The buttons I mean here are the ones with cute pics or sayings that you would just pin to something
so I guess you could call them badges or buttons  Grin

I have RockWaterFalls stuff ready and boxed up I just have to get the time to go to the post office.
My next day off is Thursday so if I can't get out of work early enough before then to mail it then I promise it will go out on Thursday before noon with a DC# to follow.
I hate to make you wait since you were already flaked on but my hours lately have been a pain in the butt  Undecided

glittergirl94 I love the slide show of your goodies  Grin
I might have to copy you and do that with my pics  Wink
I think I will be adding to my goody list...
I have a badge a minute make and I could make nifty buttons also
I just gotta put my new ink cartridge in my printer.
Would any one be interested in buttons?

Those are so cute!!!
They would fit in so well under my bed with all of the other things (like dust bunnies and friendly monsters)
That is a great idea  Grin

The sealer is a spray on brand I bought in the craft section at wal-mart
I am out right now or I would tell you the brand name.
I do remember it is in a silver can and it sprays on kinda white-ish looking (almost like thin elmers glue) then dries clear and leaves the doll very shiny.
It is great for a porcelain look on a plastic doll Smiley

I figured that was the problem with the paint but...it was such a pretty color I had to try it once  Wink
I did learn though that if you paint them with the model paint and then add make up (i used old stuff out of my make up kit) that it makes it stick well  Grin

Well tomorrow I am off from work so I will have time to finish up RockWaterFalls angel package and hope to get it in the mail tomorrow or at least on my way to work on Friday.
I sure hope she likes what I am sending...My daughter keeps trying to steal one of the goodies  Grin
