1  Re: Countdown to July Harry Potter Swap! in The Swap Gallery by CraftingPassion on: July 03, 2007 12:48:02 PM
Okay, I finally got pics of my totally amazing loot.

First up is a group shot of everything. (Except the bookmark, because it was being used in PoA  Cheesy) There's a picture frame, a necklace, a set of earrings, a notebook, two really cool badges, and a set of four coasters.

A close up of the frame, done if Gryffindor colors, it has quotes from the books in it. I haven't found a cool enough photo worthy of this awesome frame!

The four coasters. They are Hermione (my fav character), the draught of peace (my fav potion), the sorting hat, and the womping williow.

Totally awesome notebook for me to record my Hermione-ish thoughts.  Kiss

The totally amazing SPEW and Weasley is our king badges, which I could not get a good pic of.

The amazingly wonderful Golden Snitch earrings which I put on as soon as I got, and am wearing them today aswell.

A really bad close up of the necklace that allows me to declare my belief that Snape is good (Trust Snape) or Evil (Snape is Evil) or both if I can't decide.

I did manage to remember the bookmark in time to get a close up of it though. It is totally awesome, it allows me to record my favorite quotes, favorite scenes, important scenes, and any notes that I may have on Deathly Hallows.

Another close up of everything she sent me (except the bookmark of course.) And no, she didn't sent me the dog. Although sometimes I'd like to send the dog to her  Wink

So thanks so much subdefective, the package was amazing, I'm really happy. Also thank you to superhooker for organizing this amazing swap!

3  Recreating this sweater in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by CraftingPassion on: September 24, 2006 09:23:57 AM
I'm a total browncoat and for halloween I wanted to dress up as River. I adore her outfit in Safe, and was hoping to be able to wear that, I'm having trouble figuring out how her sweater is made, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This is the best pic I could find of it.
