Those are AMAZING.  Both the costume and Wheatley are just perfect, and you two are awesome for working through the blackout!  I like the headlamp, very helpful.  Grin
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: WIP - hexagon kaleidascope quilt on: October 06, 2011 08:45:17 PM
Oh my, that INSTANTLY makes me want to learn how to make fabric hexagons!  I could wrap up in that and just stare at it for hours, it's so very beautiful.

Eager to see how it turns out!

It's gorgeous, and the ladybug is such a sweet detail!  An inspiring project, pincushions needn't be dull! Cheesy

Such a pretty fabric, and it drapes so nicely on you!  Love the one-sleeved stuff I've been seeing around lately.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Rainbow Scarves for a Brighter Fall! on: September 13, 2011 05:15:40 PM
Summer was a little late getting to Seattle, and even then, hung around for about two weeks.  I'm GLAD it's gone, though...because it means cozy sweaters, coats and SCARVES!

I just made these for a local shop.  The owner loved them and is excited to carry more.  I'm thinking about making greyscale ones, for our spooky friends.  (I know I'm a spooky friend!)

I sell cat hats at my own job, nothing fancy, just simple fleece jobs that just about everyone seems to like.  Fleece is simple to work with, but I really want to expand my horizons and learn to sew ANYTHING.  It's such a soothing and satisfying craft!

(First post after joining five years ago!  Hooray!  Cheesy)
