1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pull-tab choker on: March 05, 2006 05:54:08 PM
I saw the idea for a pull tab bracelet here:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=16894.0 and decided to give it a try.  After successfully making a bracelet, I decided to make a choker to match.  So far i've gotten nothing but compliments on it.  Everyone wants me to make them one now.  I didn't come up with the idea, so I take no credit for it, but I thought I'd post how my choker came out.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Tie-dye tank on: March 01, 2006 03:27:48 PM
I made this tank-top out of a shirt we tie-dyed in chem class.  The shirt was way to big for me, so I cut it and sewed it back together (minus sleeves and a neck) and added some lace and ribbon straps.  This was the first shirt I ever made, but I think it turned out fairly well.  Lets just hope I fit into it still by the time warmer weather comes around.  I might be a tad bit chilly wearing that in the 30 degree weather we're experiencing right now, here in hickville.
Therat's a close up of the bottom lace, bought at Joann's.  Sorry bout the bad quality photos.  My camera doesn't isn't exactly professional, if you know what i mean.
