Love your Shark, Ptarmic!!  Can't wait to see the tie dyed shirts Miss V!

I had a productive night last night and made 3 beaded animals (a monkey, a giraffe, and a penguin).  And I worked on the necklace for my partner in another swap.  Yay!!

Tonite I'll be making more beaded animals and then hopefully get them into my shop over the weekend.  I just got a ton of beads last week and I think I'll be going back today to look for more.  Fun!

Happy Crafting all!!

atsuko, can the ends be tucked in well enough that they'd work on hair clips? A lot of us (not me!!) have kids, and they would be so cute on barettes.

Sure!  I can easily wire them on hairclips, fasten so that it doesn't slip/move, and tuck the ends inside a strand of beads.  I made some of the bunnies into simple clips on bobby pins before.  I think your idea is fab!!  Thanks!

atsuko,
Your beadie creatures are so cute - and they reminded me of the beadie robots I was working on before my trip...I sure hope I can find them. Kinda basic, but I had metallic looking beads & they seemed perfect for robots.
Ooh, I wanna see the robots!!  They sound cute!!

They're adorable!  Not something I'd wear, but I'd turn them into ornaments or something =)
Thanks!  Some are big enough to be decent sized ornaments.  The bunnies are cute as cell charms or bag charms.  Smiley

Ooh, can't wait to see the new items Ptarmic!!

That toast is too cute DDS!  I have 2 breakfast sets coming from Shooting Star otherwise I'd be all over that toast.

I think many of the beaded animals would be better suited to pin backs, but the monkeys would be really neat if you could pair them with banana charms on a dangly chain!

Ok!  I'll make a bunch and leave that option open!  I have wired them onto pin back in the past.  I think it's a stronger bond than the glue...plus it doesn't mess up the beads.  I love your suggestion for the monkeys/bananas!!

Lana will be surprised!  Sorry, I wasn't looking for it on purpose.  I was an accidental spy.  They are wonderful as usual!!  Smiley

If you read atsuko's post without the last sentence and the url, it's super funny!

Back to crafting, the beaded monkeys are awesome!  I am amazed at your patience.
Smiley  Thanks!!  I love the little monkeys too.  Smiley

Must ... resist ... urge ... to ... learn ... beading.

Oh, wait, it might be too late. I believe a bead loom is on its way to me from the Supplies Swap.

Cool!!  Can't wait to see what you make on your loom!!  I have a kiddie one from Japan.

My friend actually had her cats declawed.  I thought this was a bit mean.  She told me they used phenol to burn the area so that the nail wouldn't grow back.  YIKES!

Would anyone be interested in little critters like these made into earrings and necklaces?  I'm getting the beading bug again.
