I am going to a fiber fair this weekend *maniacal grin*

So I should have lots of good stuff to card up!

totally off topic, but

I got 3 lbs of raw alpaca at the last fiber fair I went to.  Getting the drum carder finally inspired me, so I grabbed out a big handful and washed and carded it up.   Mixed it about 2 parts alpaca with 1 part of mill end wool.  So soft.  So pretty.  I need to get a big washtub so I can wash the rest all at once instead of a handful at a time in the bathroom sink!

Ack!  It all sounds so lovely!!

On a more personal note, what can I do to improve my shop guys?

Are people interested in soap, paper, or felted soap at all?  Are my items too small?

If there were more paper?  Or bigger sheets? Or envelopes?

Two felted soaps instead of 1?

Is anyone else interested in the knitting needles with polymer clay heads?  Should I make more of those?

I just got a new drum carder, so I could put up hand carded batts, if people would be interested in that?  It would probably be around a 1.5 oz batt, there are examples in last weeks Fiber Friday post on the spinning forum.

Are there any other small knitted items people would be interested in?  Hats or wristwarmers or something?

I just don't have as much crafting time as I'd like right now (my husband had been noticing that I've been spending all my time crafting and not helping him finish unpacking into our new house), so if I'm going to make more things for my shop, I'd like to make things people might actually claim!

I am interested in drum cards or even handdye roving.  I receive rolags from SSS8 and I love them.  They are so pretty and easy to spin up.

Me too and green felted beads would also be great!!

I was thinking of making a mini skeleton bear or two...

Ack!  I would totally love one of them.  I love your lil' bear!!!

Thank you xladyluckx!!  Soon I'll have another point to spend.  Yay!!
