Awesome quilt Phizzy!!   Your mom is going to love it!!

GatsbyGirl, thank you soo much for stitching that tee for Lana.  She's going to love it!!  I'll be studying it like mad since I'm trying to learn how to embroider.
I love the stocking you made your SIL.  It's so sweet.

Can't wait to see your zombies, Cookies.  Lana is still loving the Dora and Boots tee that you stitched for her.  Smiley

It's Friday!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Thanks everyone!!  I am hard at work at making a Splinter to match.  I'd love to share that pattern too once he's done.  It's fun/crazy trying to figure out a pattern for his head and kimono.  Smiley

MonkeyThumb, I hear you on the violence.  I got into the original TMNT because I had a 4 year old friend who was totally into them and I used to get him the action figures.  I remember thinking how cute it was when my daughter got into them (brought back good memories, ya know), but yikes she can be feisty.  They say young children shouldn't watch violent shows and I'd have to agree now in retrospect.  I do like the fact that they promote justice and the earlier seasons aren't as dark.

Phizzy, good luck on the quilt.  I've been planning to make one for my sister for several years now.  I have collected all the fabric (blue/white Japanese prints) but have never even gotten as far as thinking about the pattern.  Are you sewing it by hand?

Thanks for the awesome link LL.  I treated myself to one.  Smiley
We're feeling all festive here too.  Last night we saw the Shrek Christmas and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas on TV.  Lana was totally excited and ran off to find her stocking after the shows.

Alteredmommy, a Nightmare before Christmas tree sounds awesome!!  You could combine your other idea and do a NBC in paper.

I'm still slaving away at Splinter.  I have been really indecisive about his body so I've done several different versions of his legs.  I guess I'll have to see if I can manage some sort of kimono before deciding on what to do.  Last night I made some progress on his head.  Ack!

I have some stitch markers on lever back earrings if anyone is interested.  They are the ones with glass animals that I offered in the early rounds of the swap.

The silver plated octopus charms were waiting for me when I got home.  I'll be offering at least 1 in the next round.  I might keep 1 for me!

Have fun in Boston DDS!!  That's a great city!!

Love your octo necklace PurpleOne!  My sis decided to pass on hers, so once I receive them I'll be offering a silver plated one.  Smiley

I just received a pic of my card that Phizzy made and it is awesome!!
What a great way to start the day!

Happy crafting everyone!

As my mom said when my daughter received a doll in a moldy box from her grandparents in TN for her first b-day.

"It's the thoughtlessness that counts."
