OK, I am not sure I am in the right place.  I could not find the recycle completed projects.

I made this from a milk jug.....I use to give them out as gifts like baby showers with all the little things you do not get (clipper, brush, comb, diaper pins, nose thingy, ear thingy, thermometer, medicine dropper and etc.)  House warming with measuring spoons, measuring cups, thermometer, pot holders, ring tree and etc.)  I have even given them with football colors of favorite team and house plant.





You can do anything you want with the wings......leave them out, put pompoms on them, stuff a little something in the wing.  The ideas are endless.

I did do a tutorial if anyone is interested.

1st) I made the pillow quilt for my Grandson last year and just now getting around to posting.  It is made out of soft story book panels and all the different Clifford fabric.  He is 10 now and I did not think he was into soft books, and I did not want to get rid of the book so I recon it into this:


this is the front and one row is over the top of 6 foot privacy fence.  there are 12 story panels.

here it is folded up, a little hard with a extra long pillow quilt

I do not know off hand the size, I worked with the panels to make it look even.  I will try to get you some measurements later.

2nd) this one is much simpler, mater panel and fabric.  again just made to fit the panel and look even:

My grandson and I were out taking picture of frogs everynight this week.  This one made me think of (Can you hear me now?).

I wanted to share my grandson photos: Arthur is 10 yrs old and love to take pictures of all kind.  Well yesterday he was in the mood........LOL.  So I have been working with him on his photography skills.  These pictures were taking outside with our above ground pool.  I can not tell you how many pictures he too but here are some of the best.







I hope you all enjoy them.  I am even thinking of put one on the Marco challenge.  I think the frog on thumb is the best.

I made mine out of a vacuum cleaner box.  (on of those $20 vaccum at WalMart)

step 1 - I took a ruler and used the width of the ruler for my cut out, you can kinda see my lines on the front of the box.

step 2 - I took freezer paper and clear packing tape to the outside. (sides, back and top)  The two items we keep around the house. (for tonight I lined the bottom of box with freezer paper)  Tomorrow I will get poster board to finish.

step 3 - The lamp is something I had around the house but you can get them at home depot or Lowe's.  (I may pick up another lamp or two.)

step 4 - I was given a tripod a few months back so I will set up and be ready.  Can not wait to get started on new shots.

My son wants to use it to sell his stuff on ebay, thinks he will get better shots.

I thought I would share my scarves with all of you.  I have even made my daughter a shawl out of the pattern.  I have put pattern here too, now it is not my pattern but I only use it half way to get the triangle, they are made it in different yarns and different patterns.  I hope to see others, thank you all for your tutorial and ideas.  Craft Along with me.

My daughter suggested a KOALA swap......of course her favorite. 
She said I have seen frogs, skulls, pandas, and etc but no Koala, and she not from Australia......LOL

I think a STATE swap would be neat to exchange....some never leave their state and this would be a nice way to travel. 

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would give it a try since I got the book.  The only difference is that I made mine out of fabric strips 1/4 wide. 

Will include short tute on how to connect the strips......

this will allow you to not sew in so many ends.

This is the fabric used.


As you can see it is larger then most of the Fat Bottom Bag.


Almost forgot the handles are County Crock margarine 3# tub, with the middle cut out.

The first picture is two different color plastic bag to show how to put together strips.  The bag is made out of fabric strips,
1/4 inch strips....45 inches wide.  This bag took about 2 1/2 yards of fabric and size L crocheting hook.  I do plan to line the bag.

I purchased the kit at Walmart that was discounted but decided to change it some.





Fabric is cut into 1/8 inch strips.  It is knitted on both sides.  It was not that hard to work with fabric for knit or crochet.

Let me know what you think....I know I may make some others with different fabric and pattern.
