11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: sweet cheeks- come see my amigurumi football player! on: September 12, 2007 01:23:20 PM
He is precious! Love the butt shot...I made some dolls for friends & they were checking out the bums too. lol

Count me in on the ami-luchador love too! Is there a pattern for him someplace?
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: sparkley fingerless gloves EDIT: with pattern! on: June 11, 2007 12:14:10 PM
I think I ended up sewing up the side till I got to the short rows & then slip stitching thru there to the last 3 or 4 stitches & finishing the attaching there. Whatever, it made sense at the time  Cheesy and I got it to work nicely. Thank you for sharing the pattern!

Here are mine, made out of Senso cotton crochet thread.

Actually they're not mine. They're for a secret pal at another board...shhh, nobody tell. hehe. I may make myself some now tho.

These are so cute...but forgive my stupidity. Do you attach the top and bottom edges, or the left and right? (I'm guessing the top and bottom, and if I were at home with the HH book it may say so.) And where does the thumb hole go? Is it up where the short rows are, or the other end?
14  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / how to dye rayon? on: April 05, 2007 04:10:19 PM
So, I just got a spindle as a swap gift & somebody suggested that the rayon fluff you get at beauty supply houses was pretty good to practice spinning on. What might work to dye it, assuming it turns out looking anything at all like yarn, and I want to keep & use it?  Cheesy

Thoroughly nifty!!  Cheesy

I don't play much anymore but I have a couple of friends who do & I've been thinking of making them matching dice bags (they're married). Have any of you felted crochet? I'm just exploring felting knitted purses--crochet should work too, I guess & felted bags is where my thoughts were going.
