I sewed them together after taking a picture to make one giant pillow [about 27" long] so she can put it on her bed or hang it or whatever. My son's comment "Mom, the first letter is supposed to be uppercase!" [so much for appreciation...]

Do you think she will like it? It's super soft fleece [fabric remnant at JoAnn] stuffed with polyfill.

I had this adorable conversation starter tee from my teen years "90% ANGEL" and sadly it had some stains so I couldn't wear it anymore. Luckily, my daughter is a lot like me so the inscription fits her attitude as well

The recon involved 1 stretchy tee, some rubber band [top of tee], 2 yards of tulle [skirt - on purpose not fluffy and straps on the tube top [you can tie them].

Result - birthday dress for a happy princess. We are going to a bouncy place for her 3rd birthday so she will take the skirt off for bouncing and wear shorts

My stinky furball sweet kitten also loves to hang out next to the sewing machine. She lays as close as she can to the sewing basket, tries to get spools of thread out and then drop them on the floor... gives me the "uh-oh, it feel down!"-look and jumps down to hunt them She also HAS TO sit on fabric while I am cutting it... and on yarn while I am knitting - which was a big problem because I have a swap partner allergic to cats. I had to put all the yarn in plastic bags which freaked her out.

PS. I also have a home office. Every time I print something out she races me to the printer, snags the paper that comes out and chews it to pieces

Why are we grumpy? Well because we already turned 31 last week hahaha.


Oh, the humongous eyes of the doll are an insider joke. When we were looking at my baby pictures, my husband said: "Wow you used to have gigantic eyes, like an alien!" Me: "Yeah but then my head grew into them..." Him: "Well..."

So there they are, the huge green alien eyes he loves so much. hahaha.

The ideal man, never talks back, always warm, never leaves socks around the house and carries all your stuff. Of course unfortunately no sex.

My friend's son is turning 3 and I made him this activity book, but now I am unsure if this is just not good enough... what do you think? Particurarly how the glue bulked out some of the [paper] pages... ugh. I honestly need an opinion if I need to toss it? I must add this is a very good friend so even if this is crappy, she will still say she loved it!

All of the buttons, snaps, zippers etc. open and close and are glued and stitched to cardboard.

OK I am inspired! Please be gentle this is my first card ever

I used some coupons from the mail and a croutons box. The original looks a lot better, I don't know why the picture turned out so crappy. Might do a scan next time.

Crocheted standard spaghetti, generic brand, 1 minute undercooked, greased with vegetable oil. Method: a very thick hook and later fingers. Stitch: chain. Result: Yummy. Maybe an idea for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner for a patient, long-waiting housewife and her spouse? [this is supposed to be a heart]
