3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Clock on: October 19, 2008 06:58:45 PM
This is a clock I made for my bedroom. I took the wallpaper boarder and cut out part of it. I bought wooden clock base from Hobby Lobby and the clock parts. I painted the base to match my room and glued the wallpaper to the base added the clock parts and here it is.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / First Time Posting (wood staining) on: October 19, 2008 06:55:14 PM
Hi I have been lurking on this site for years and finally decided to post some of the things I have made. I do all kinds of crafting from Knitting to painting. Here are some of the things I made for my home a few years ago.

This was a wooden crate that a machine part was shipped in at a job I worked at I made it into a hope chest. It was painted to match my bedroom. Dusty Rose, blue and off white with a little gold.

This was a pressboard table from walmart that is about $5 usually you put a table skirt on top of it and a glass top. I used a stenile and some 3d stuff and I tried to make it look like it was wooden using white paint as the base and a old paint brush and wood stain to make it look like wood.
