One Halloween party I attended had a host that was incredibly creative. The buffet table was set up to look a corpse in a lab. I can't remember all of the details, but a plastic skeleton was used for the corpse. The top of the head was cut off and filled with a sandwich spread. A gallon container was set nearby with frozen grapes (representing eyeballs) floating in a liquor. There were several other glass containers filled with casseroles and labeled with tags such as 'bowel contents', 'skin', and 'body hair'. An aquarium pump was hidden in a plastic heart and used as a bubbler for the punch. A red sauced pasta dish with white rice tossed on top (maggots) was set in the stomach area. Barbequed ribs and chicken wings were also served. And there was a leg bone made of french bread.
